INSPIRATION

Highly motivated and dynamic young women aged from 18 to 25 years old earn 20-weeks scholarships after a battery of challenging innovative tests within the academy’s network of partnered private and public tech universities.

First step is to emulate long-term impact into project or initiatives holders and/or social change dreamers even without an idea yet.

PROBLEM SOLVING

The problem solving techniques and approaches we use will initiate social leadership mechanisms.

 

The activities are composed of but not limited to coding, programming, chess, oral, written and graphic creative storytelling, social business model canvas, sports training, flight simulation, debates, brainstorming sessions, and role playing.

 

Students will be introduced to entrepreneurship through the practice of collaborative teamwork.

SUSTAINABILITY

How to differentiate oneself from the competition in the long-term?

Our courses deliver the keys to understanding some of the essentials towards building a long-term, renewable social ecosystem.

 

Strategy, organizational behavior, human resource management and leadership learning techniques challenge participants to seek for new sustainable business models and build unexplored mechanisms.

MENTORING

Teach what you've learned...

That process is a key component of not only enhancing learning quality but also the foundation of the 'Giving Back' system'. 

 

Girls learn for 10 weeks and mentor the next generation for 10 weeks before they complete their grow Academy training.

LAUNCHING

After completion of the grow Academy training, we help girls launch their solution within an other organization, with a partner, and/or as a social enterprise.

CURRICULUM DESIGN

One of the participants most important task is to transform the solutions they have developed into online curriculums that the academy can use for generations to come.

They are taught to leave a legacy for the future and also produce data and new ways to achieve social transformation.

In 5 years, ‘grow Academy’ will be the largest social solutions database built by young women in Africa.

Girls join the program’s alumni platform and pledge to finance scholarships and keep mentoring the next generations, thus making the concept sustainable.
