THE GIVING BACK & GROW ACADEMY TEAM WERE INVITED IN FEBRUARY 2018 FOR A ONE OF THE PRESTIGIOUS 'TALK @GOOGLE' CONFERENCE IN SILICON VALLEY

Boston Celtics basketball player Guerschon Yabusele grew up in a low-income neighborhood in France. As with 200 other young kids around the world, Guerschon has been given lifetime opportunities by the 'Giving Back' non-profit organization, including elite sports training, access to $10M of college scholarships, and social entrepreneurship training. Founded by longtime NBA basketball international evaluator Babacar Sy, 'Giving Back' has built a sustainable social reinvestment system for its program's alumni.

One of its success stories, Kudjo Sogadzi, who went from the inner city suburbs of Paris to the hedge fund industry, embodies the value of education.

Powered by their "Never forget where you come from..." motto, those former and current athletes now focus on women's social entrepreneurship through the Grow Academy, an-all female training program based in Senegal and West Africa.

Amsatou Diop, a Sup'Imax college student, is the first Grow Academy graduate from Senegal to create a sustainable social business.
